Limousines, or limos for short, are unusual and unique long luxury cars, which traditionally sport black or white colors, and may sometimes have other colors, like pink, blue and grey. Limousines are generally driven by chauffeurs and are usually associated with the wealthy and privileged. Think of the impressions the word ‘limousine’ conjures up: Hollywood stars, tycoons, VIPs, and the bride and groom on wedding day. A limousine is an elegant add-on that enhances the festivity of the occasion.

Generally, the common use of limousines and chauffeured transportation include services such as VIP airport transportation, funerals, weddings, school proms, corporate parties, birthday events, tour services, shopping, nights-on-the town, clubbing, and transport to or from a resort and from crosstown.

While a large number of limousines are owned by wealthy individuals, many are also owned or operated by governments for transporting senior politicians and dignitaries, and by large corporations for transporting executives. Most limousines also operate as rental car types, upmarket competition to taxis.

The word limousine is derived from the name of the French region ‘Limousin’, and refers to the long cloaks once worn by the shepherds in the French countryside.

Historically, the limousine has been defined an extension of a large sedan. Longer frames and wheelbase allow the rear passenger compartment to contain the usual forward facing passenger seat, however with a substantial amount of foot room, which is more than actually needed. Usually then two jump seats are mounted, and face rearward behind the driver. These seats could be folded up when they are not in use.

Most luxury limousines could carry a capacity of seven passengers in addition to the driver. The newer limousines, such as the Maybac 62 , Audi A8L, Hummer H2, Lincoln Town Car; and the Cadillac DTS do not feature such seats since stretch limousines are generally used to transport more than three passengers, excluding the driver. These vehicles may contain expensive car audio players, video players, TV and bars, and often with refrigerators.

There are times, or occasions when a coach builder or vehicle designer will develop the “ultimate” stretch limo, adding such amenities that seem somewhat impractical but which make a stronger and more stylish design statement. One notable design feature includes double rear axles that support the weight of items such as an operational hot tub.

Limousine builders can also perform after market extensions on luxury sedans and SUVs. These extensive limousine conversions have notably been performed on several luxury brands including: Audi, Bentley, BMW, Cadillac, Chrysler, Ford, Holden, Hummer, Infiniti, Jaguar, Lexus, Lincoln, Mercedes-Benz, and Rolls Royce. In North America, the most popular vehicles for stretch limousines conversion are the Lincoln Town Car, Cadillac DTS, Hummer H2, and the Lincoln Navigator. There are even instances where corvettes and VW Bugs being stretched to accommodate more passengers.

While defining what constitutes a “luxury car” is quite subjective, specific guidelines such as price, design, comfort, and prestige are also used to help define the term. Luxury cars, such as limousines, offer a higher degree of comfort than their mainstream counterparts, as well as provide highly sumptuous interiors accented by unique designs and elegant interiors. Common features such as interior leather and polished wood grain-look dashboards are general amenities.

Have you ever looked at the “top 10″ lists within Apple’s App Store and noticed that over half of the apps earning the most money are free to download? How can this be possible?

Several years ago, the App Store introduced a new feature that allows developers to charge customers from directly within their applications – with the customer’s connect of course. This feature took a while to catch on, but it is now one of the top profit strategies for many developers, and here’s two strategies that have proven highly effective for developers:

Free Trials
The App Store does not directly allow free trials of games/apps to be downloaded. But with in-app purchases, developers are able to effectively offer users a demo and trial of their apps at no cost. During 2011, the App Store saw a big rise in this strategy. A game developer can offer a free download of the full version of their game with 1/10th of the levels unlocked. If the user enjoys the game, they can purchase all the other levels – right from within the app – for the original price of the game.

This has numerous benefits for the developer. Most notably, it allows them get their game in the hands of vastly more users than would otherwise be possible. Since users can download apps for free, they are more inclined to try it out, and hopefully, upgrade later.

The “Freemium” Model
Another popular strategy for in-app purchases is the “fermium” model where the app is free to everyone, but those who use the app regularly can upgrade for more features. This is widely used by developers of utilities, such as photo editors, where most effects are free, but additional filters are available for $0.99. Again, this allows many users to benefit from the app, while still earning revenue from those who use it enough to be willing to pay.

The “Currency” Model
Finally, we’ll look at perhaps the most effective in-app purchase strategy of all. This one is used primarily by developers of social and strategy-based games. Much like the above strategies, the game is free to download and play by any user, but the games offer something such as Smurf Berries (Smurf’s Village) or Magic Beans (Trade Nations) that are essentially “currency” within the game. Most games offer users ways to earn free currency, but for the users who want to progress faster or achieve more, in-app purchases of these items will enhance the game-playing experience.

For developers, the rise of in-app purchases has created more opportunities to generate substantial revenue from their work, creating more depth and quality within the app store.

When hair is hand-tied to the base of a lace wig, a knot is formed to secure the hair in place. Bleached knots are knots that have been lighten to appear less noticeable. Bleaching is used for a more natural appearance to look as though the hair is growing right out of your scalp. Even with the bleaching technique, knots made with dark hair colors such as black and off black will be more noticeable than lighter color hair. Light color lace may also make dark color knots more noticeable. Light color hair such as light browns and blonds usually do not need bleached knots.

It requires more processing to lighten darker color knots which can be damaging to the hair. If all the knots on the wig are bleached, it will weaken the hair and cause premature shedding and breakage. It is recommended to only lightly bleach the knots in the front perimeter in order to prevent excessive shedding. It is common for a man’s toupee to have all of the knots bleached because the hair is much shorter and does not endure the same amount of stress or friction from styling as a lace wig. Lace wigs usually have longer hair which endures more stress from curling, combing, fingering and pulling on the hair.

For the best results of undetectable knots and hair that looks as though it is growing right from your scalp select a wig made with silk top (silk injection) or a thin skin wig cap.

Silk top

The silk top also known as silk injection or hidden knots is a layer silk fabric and lace added section of the wig. The hair is knotted below the silk material, concealed between the layers. The hair is then injected through the silk giving the illusion that the hair is growing out of your scalp.

Thin skin

Thin skin wigs also known as polyurethane are available in several colors to match your skin tone. The thin poly material is ventilated by hand, using a looping technique so the hair will stay secure longer. Because hair is injected into the thin skin material and not knotted, the hair appears to be growing directly from the scalp. Thin skin can be placed around the perimeter or the entire wig.

The thin skin base looks great with lighter density hair. Because thin skin is not made of breathable material, it is best used in cooler climates.

The very first step of your business career should be to start creating a highly focused Business Plan. Without a business plan you are setting out on the route to failure – guaranteed!

Look at it this way, when your build a house you must lay the foundations for the house to stand. The same rules apply for any business; whether it’s a home based business, high street business, or even an internet business; you simply MUST HAVE a business plan.

The problem is for the majority of aspiring entrepreneur’s, they do not know what to include in their business plane, or if they do, they put the business plan at the bottom of their drawer, never to be seen again!

So, the first step in writing a business plan that is guaranteed to bring you success is to get down the basics. The basics should include details of you as the primary business owner, and also any other ‘key players’ in the business. Within these details you should include contact details for every relevant person, just in case you need to contact them in an emergency. Once you have gained all of the relevant details should now start to focus on the following areas:

Your business idea Within this section you should write down your business ideas. Don’t worry, a business plan is a working document, and therefore you can change the business plan as your ideas and creativity progress.

The aim of the business Within this section of the plan try to detail what the main aim/objectives of the business are. You should try to include short, medium and long term aims of the business. Where do you want to be in 3 months time? Where do you want to be in 12 months/36 months and 60 months time etc?

Your product and services Within this section you should concentrate on providing details that are relevant to your product or service. Always, and I mean always, aim for quality in everything that you do. Who’s going to make your product? Who’s going to deliver the service and are they capable of delivering the same high standards that you expect? Remember, without other’s help, you will not succeed in business.

Trade accounts Within this section you should include define details that relate to your trade accounts. Are you going to meet with them face-to-face, or are you going to communicate b telephone and e mail? It is very important that you meet up with your trade accounts from time to time in order to build up a relationship/

Business funding Within this section of the business plan, try to define details that relate to the funding of your business. Are you going to fund the expansion yourself, or are you going to seek capital from a third party such as a bank or venture capitalists? Whichever you choose, make sure you can afford the repayments!

Other areas of your plan should include Business premises, staff details, further costs and expenses, inventory and action for progress.
