You can put a search into Facebook for a particular interest, like “beer” for example. To create a group, just login to your Facebook account and select the “Create a Group” link in the left panel.  Give the group a name and you also have the option of adding friends to invite to your group immediately and you also have the option of setting up your security settings right away too.  Depending on your group and who and what it’s all about, your security settings will need to be set accordingly.  If you don’t care about others seeing your group or having the ability to join your group, then you can adjust your settings accordingly too.

Facebook provides a great way to connect with others by creating groups.  A group is something that can bridge you and your friends together as well as others who share the same interests.  It can keep you all notified about happenings, things pertinent to your group or club and also provide a way for you all to communicate with votes or other ways of keeping you linked together.
